Flexible payment options
Payment is due prior to, or at the end of each session. You can pay by cash, cheque, e transfer or credit card. Please note that credit card payments may be subject to processing fees.
Cancellation Policy – Potential of Fee
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Missed appointments mean someone else misses out on the opportunity to receive services. If you cannot make your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee of up to 100% of the cost of the missed session.
If you do not call, text or email to cancel, I will assume you have been delayed, and I will wait for you. In this case the full session fee will be charged.
Extended Health – Are you covered?
BC Medical Services Plan does not cover therapy but many extended health plans do. While there are many insurance plans that include a variety of professional designations, some may only cover Registered Social Workers or Psychologists. It’s important to check what your extended health care policy covers.
If you are making an extended health care claim, you will need to pay for your session upfront and then submit your invoice/receipt for reimbursement. I do not do direct billing at this time.
The following extended health benefit providers accept eligible* claims for reimbursement:
Sun Life, Pacific Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada , Equitable Life of Canada, Claimsecure, and Manulife.
*Please check with your provider directly as to whether your particular policy includes this coverage.
